Lorin & Joy Wedding

This was the wedding of my good friend Lorin and his lovely bride Joy. It was a cold winter day, but these two toughed it out and posed like they didn't notice the cold at all. This was my first chance to try out Canon's 70-200mm 'L' series lens, and it worked like a dream, I highly recommend this lens. The rings were custom made by Lorin's father Jeff, a master goldsmith with Jensen Jewelers in Rexburg, ID. I've had a few custom rings made by him and he does stellar work.

Old School - Sort Of

I was perusing some older pictures I have lingering on my computer, it's interesting going back to look at a photograph I haven't seen in a few years, thinking of what changes I would have made if I could go back and do it over. Five of these pictures were taken with film. It isn't convenient or cheap to shoot film these days, but I sure do miss developing my own film and making my own prints.

Arizona

I moved to Arizona about 6 years ago from a rural part of Idaho. The transition from living next to a major river and wooded area to living in the urban jungle has been difficult for me. In the years I've been here I haven't had much opportunity to explore outside of Mesa, but when I have ventured outside my little bubble I've witnessed a land that is very alien and very beautiful to me.  These are a few photos from a recent camping trip a few miles north of Superior Arizona.
